New York based Artist, Ji Na is an originally Sumi painter with her family background. Her grandfather, a sumi ink calligrapher encouraged her early interest in art. Ji Na's inner passion and blended culture allowed her to extend the range of her talent even further.  

Composition & brush technique are the most important factors because painter can convey their own feelings from the heart and mind to share with viewers by observing the object or scenery. Ji Na's work can capture the sense of season or the emotional effects of such weather conditions as wind, rain or sun. Ji Na believes everything you can imagine is real. whether very complex or simplified, all are manifestations pleasing to the eye.

The energy of brush movements can create works that captured the force of nature and also represent the expressions of the mind.
